Sowing and Reaping is all about Intentionality.  God is looking for us to bless our seed.  The seed is our faith with expectation wrapped around the seed (finance).  The difference between a rock and seed is expectations. 

Here you are welcome to exercise your faith and obedience through the tithe.  Bringing 10% of your income (First Fruit) to the Lord, who is the giver of all.  Malachi 3:10 - Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house,
And try Me now in this, "Says the Lord of hosts,
“If I will not open for you the windows of heaven
And pour out for you such blessing
That there will not be room enough to receive it."

Giving Alms is an offering that is obedient to the Holy Spirit who leads us in giving.  This is generosity in action and no faith is really required.  This heart felt generosity purifies our heart while we are operating in faith in other areas.
